ZEITGEIST COFFEE ORIGINALLY OPENED IN 1997

Designed to provide a place that is different from the typical "out of a box" corporate coffee shop.

We work hard to present a warm, pleasing place that is more in keeping with a traditional coffee house, a place for the exchange of ideas and a meeting place for the community. Contributing to the neighborhood in the way that only a small business can.

For five years Zeitgeist Coffee has focused on the arts. We constantly strive to show challenging work from emerging and established artists.

We continue to push the envelope of what people consider "art". On "First Thursday", the big art-walk night in downtown Seattle, Zeitgeist is a huge nexus for the arts community.

Along with our commitment to the arts, we feel strongly about creating a great cup of coffee, in every single cup.

As an independent business we fulfill a niche in the community to combine these three elements-- Atmosphere, Art, and High-quality coffee in a unique way.

Zeitgeist Coffee was voted "Best Cup of Coffee in 2000," and #3 in 2001 (only behind Starbuck's & Tully's; go figure) by Seattle City Search.
